TRADE OF THE DAY:

Again, it's a tough decision (bare in mind I'm trading today only early games) which match to take as a trade of the day. I'm choosing beetween: Kavcic vs Hewitt, Chan vs Bondarenko and Serra vs F.Lopez. While Kavcic and Hewitt are both out of form and a bit crippled (Kavic - elbow, Hewitt - foot), so it can happen almost anything, even thou I believe it will be close encounter with better start from Blaz (Kavcic) and then we will see Hewitt getting back into the game and winning probably in 4 or 5 sets. Chan vs Bondarenko is a match where I see Bondarenko as a winner, but market is hugely favouring Chan because of her last year performances, definitely I would have money on Bondarenko, but her current form is a bit worrying, but still, the match will not end as a straight set winner for Chan. So, the last decision I guess the most clear one is Serra vs F.Lopez which I'll take as a trade of the day.

11.00 - F. Lopez - Serra (ATP, Roland Garros)
Preview: Lopez (ranked 17) starts as a favourite at 1.66-1.68 vs Serra (ranked 155). I personally believe odds here are a dream come true, even thou Lopez had always trouble in RG and Serra has done exceptionally good, but on other hand, Lopez recent clay season is fairly decent, he is winning vs players ranked around 50 and also losing some against top 30 players (Granollers, Melzer, Kohlschreiber, Ferrer), but giving them a real fight. Serra has not beaten a player inside top 50 (best scalp of this year for him is beating exhausted Paire in Bordeaux) and most of his wins are vs players ranked well above 100. Lopez serve is better then Serras and definitely skill is on Spaniards side. It must be just mental issues that Lopez must deal with and he will clearly and easily win this game, but it might take a while he get accustumed to that. Good start will definitely boost F.Lopez play and bad start can make him think about year 2010 or 2011 when he was kicked out in 1st round.

Trade: I'll start with a half-stake back on F.Lopez from the start and will add some more if Serra can get first set, because I really don't see Serra winning two sets in a row. If Lopez will take first set I'll just leave my green on Lopez and let it roll. If Serra will eventually take first two sets then I'll be sweating like a swine before the slaughter and I'll lay Serra again and hope for a comeback.
