In hope for a better day

Hello.

Yesterday wasn't the best of days for my predictions, even straight bets suffered a minor loss and some really surprisingly results have occured. I hope today it will be more "normal" day.

Rotterdam (ATP, indoor hard)

15.30 - Kohlschreiber - Gasquet (2.26/1.62) - Gasquet has done his part of the deal to defend the last year result with an comeback battle over De Bakker. His game wasn't impressive at all in majority of first 2 sets. He then improved at the end. Kohlschreiber had a pretty solid and easy win in 1st round. Kohlschreiber should be hungry for some wins and Gasquet should as well be prepared for Marseille next week where he has far more chances to go deep then here. My plan will be to lay Gasquet from the start with something small and will add some more if Gasquet goes break up and even some more for a set. I'm confident Kohlschreiber can at least get a set tonight. Kohlschreiber in 3.

Update: Trade turned out great, small lay of Gasquet from the start, Gasquet goes break up then we add bigger lay and Kohlschreiber gets back and wins the set and match.

Doha (WTA, hard court)

13.30 - Li - Cetkovska (1.11/6.15) - This looks like a fairly good trade opportunity with small risk and a decent reward. Li is better player if she will stay focused, but she often relaxes a bit when break or set up and her balls start to miss. If Li will have another good start going break up I believe lay under 1.10 is good so you can stay with that probably deep into 2nd set. Of course do take money when odds go up as I believe Li should win in the end but there might be some ups and downs before that. Cetkovska will need to play as she does and try to cut down errors, especially double faults. Li in 3.

Update: Cetkovska didn't actually go behind in 1st set but it was close and odds went below 1.10 on several bp's for Li. Cetkovska won in 3 sets.

Buenos Aires (ATP, clay)

19.30 - Almagro - Traver (1.19/4.48) - Traver is not going to win but he'll make this match very hard for Almagro. So the best way to handle the match is to wait for Almagro to go break up (ideally very fast) and then put a lay on him and you can wait with that lay for the start of 2nd set for sure. Then exit with small red and go for a relay. I believe Traver can at least get back (or has chances) or put his nose in front in 2nd set. Almagro to win in 2 tight sets or 3 sets.

Update: Well, Traver started better and won first set 6-1 and lost two tight sets afterwards.

Memphis (ATP, indoor hard)

21.00 - Kudla - Lu (2.23/1.63) - Market and bookies probably overrated with the Kudla's win over Young (6-1, 6-1). It was Young who was crappy and Kudla wasn't anything special. Lu is coming here a bit rusty, but he showed a big progress this year. He is an old member here at Memphis tournament but lacks results (due to losses to better players). He certainly has chances to go deep here. But he might start a bit rusty and slow, so I'll going just with small back on Lu from start (1/10) and adding if he gets broken or set down as Kudla is the type of player you can easily come back as he isn't a big server. I see Lu winning in 2 or 3.

Update: Kudla went in front but Lu hacked his way back to win it in 3.
