Just another day

Hello.

I'm running late again, which is really strange as I have been up since 4 in the morning. How time flies, that's just amazing.... I do have plenty of trading behind me for today already and one good swing to my side and I'm done for tonight. Again 4 trades in here for all of you for other matches you can check the spreadsheet.

Rotterdam (ATP, indoor hard)

14.00 - Del Potro - Monfils (1.46/2.64) - Del Potro is comming back from his medical wrist treatment and he still isn't sure how he is. Monfils had a tough week in Montpellier but he really played amazingly and didn't look injured at all (there were some rumors). On the other hand Monfils isn't defending any points here (he lost last year vs Del Potro) that's why i believe he'll play without pressure while there is big presure on Del Potro as he is defending finalist here. With Monfils good form and playing with no burden on him I believe he can take rusty big boy to the distance. Lay from the start is the only way to go here. Take profit when it  feels good for you. I see Monfils winning 1st set then maybe a come back or retirement from Del Potro.

Update: Del Potro in 2 but Monfils had almost won the set. Good trade.

Doha (WTA, hard court)

16.30 - Knapp - Jankovic (3.73/1.26) - Knapp had a good test vs Garcia yesterday and she passed that test well. She did get some rest afterwards and will compete against Jankovic who hasn't had a match since her good run in Australia. Knapp looks in nice form, has big shots, but lacks fitness. Jankovic is a player who will make you run a lot, but on the other hand Jankovic will be rusty and she may start slower. I believe strong start from Knapp is the key for her winning the match. I'll start laying Jankovic from the start and add some if she goes in front early in the match. Knapp to win 1st set. 3-setter.

Update: Huge mistake here. Jankovic cruised over Knapp.

Buenos aires (ATP, clay)

16.00 - Traver - Hidalgo
(1.37/2.95) - Odds are probably spot on here. Traver beat Hidalgo 4 times in a row on clay quite easily (8:1 in sets). But odds are way too low here to back Traver, so strategy is to wait if Hidalgo can go break up or even set up vs Traver, as I don't see him holding for long with his crappy serve for clay standards. I see Traver winning in 2 sets again.

Update: Traver wasn't broken  but the odds went up.

Memphis (ATP, indoor hard)

19.30 - Young - Kudla (1.51/2.50) - Young has beaten Kudla 5 times in a row. It's true that all 5 matches happened before his decline, but anyway. He looks to found some form again and Kudla is just a baseliner who will need to play every point vs Young. Young will get some free points from time to time with the serve and that should be the difference. I'm going with a small back on Young from the start and adding full stake if Kudla will go break up or set up. Young in 2 or 3.

Update: Uuuuh, 6-1, 6-1 for Kudla, I was very very surprised to see that.
